William of Wykeham Lodge No. 1883

Charity

Freemasonry as a whole gives large sums to charity, and these monies are contributed by masons directly, from their own pockets, rather than collected from members of the public. You can read here more about the work of the Grand Charity. In Hampshire, our most recent big push was to help the Royal Masonic Tust for Boys and Girls by raising over £7m.

In addition, lodges support many local charities. For example, our lodge has been keen recently to help the Hampshire Air Ambulance Service.
